They come because they can get well paid jobs, and they benefit our economy as a result of this.

In some cases this may be true. For many, it means being employed as slave labour, and living in appalling conditions. Usually exploited
by their fellow countrymen.

Interesting to hear of the experience Norway have had outside of the EU. After being subjected to their own version of “Project Fear”

Well as of this week, it looks like those in authority are making a statement to all who have previously used the Grange Road fields to view air shows at Duxford.
All entrances are gated – gaps in hedges fenced off!

I don’t think those fences will keep out the hardcore photographers. Probably just a token gesture by the land owner ?
So if the worst should happen, they can say they did their best.

We were outside County Hall yesterday. I was taking a photo of the security
check for those going in to a press conference.
Some goon came up to me and told me to stop. I told him to go away and stop
annoying me. 🙂

Just out of interest, are there any skin patches on the rear fuselage ?
As I believe many Meteors suffered with metal fatigue in that area ?

I must have been the only person on the planet who hadn’t seen this, so I borrowed the DVD off my mum.

No, there’s at least two of us. I’ve never seen a Star War film all the way through.
