The thing that sticks in my mind was the David Ike interview !

I’ve watched both of those on Youtube, I think Wogan may have regretted the rematch ?

There’s no doubt that he and others knew. He even discussed it with columnist Jean Rook.

The move is due to take place on the Saturday 5th February at 02.00hrs.

I agree about him presenting the Eurovision comedy show. Probably the best thing he did.

The rest of what he did, I find overshadowed by him being amongst those who knew about Savile,
and kept quiet about it. Children were in need, but weren’t helped.

I’ve not seen this thread before.
Does the list of pilots in the original post, refer to all fighter command pilots killed during WWII ?
It doesn’t seem to be complete.

This is terrible news, no doubt the owners will now be able to bulldoze the remains, this all seems far to convenient, given the trouble they have had going through the planning process.

That thought crossed my mind as well.
