Close enough ?

I do wish someone would rebuild the single bay hanger that was destroyed in the Battle of Britain film of 1968, and use it as a theatre as the 78th FG did in 1943-1945. Now there’s an idea!

The rebuilding of that hangar has crossed my mind on more than one occasion. Although to construct it in a manner anything
like the former building, would cost an absolute fortune.

I wonder if Cameron really wants to win this vote ?
Statements such as “….David Cameron tells Tory MPs to ignore Jeremy Corbyn and ‘terrorist sympathisers’ by
voting for bombing…” could well backfire on him.

Are there any clearly defined targets in Syria, which haven’t already been attacked ?
If ISIS are living amongst the civilian population, bombs and missiles won’t take them out.
Or do our illustrious leaders decide on an acceptable ratio of ISIS to Civilian deaths ?

No – he taxied in 655 only, in the programme.

He attended one of the last flights but did not participate. It was unclear if he was there for the final tour weekend or the final flight.

Wasnt it the final flight where he was filmed talking to the young ladies through the fence ?

Smart ordnance or not, the most skilled, conscientious and dedicated of pilots and navigators will make mistakes when attacking targets. Iraq and Afghanistan demonstrated this simple truth. The US Govt. was fairly constantly both apologising and paying compensation. .

Not forgetting the Balkans, where the wrong targets were accurately bombed on a number of occasions.

Still, not to worry. It’s only Johnny foreigner and his family getting killed.

If she is bound for a new home there would be little point in her taking up room in the revamped AAM.

It was interesting to hear a comment from John Nichol last week.
He was of the opinion that the primary reason for the attack on Paris, was not just to kill people.
It was to get a reaction.

Of course there are different ways of interpreting that, but it certainly seems to have been the case.
