I thought the plan was that you could see half the race on BBC and the remainder on SKY 😀

    Police policy

I had the misfortune to be knocked off my motorcycle a short while ago. A young lady pulled out from a driveway without looking and I piled into the side of the car. Luckily I suffered no serious injury but both vehicles were written off due to the damage. I wound up about £1k out of pocket as a result. The attending police officer stated that it was clearly her fault but stated it was the policy of Thames Valley Police not to prosecute unless serious injury or death had occured and handed me a leaflet to explain this policy. She could have killed me through her careless driving but got off scot free !

So…… If TVP don’t prosecute when an accident occurs, will they bother when one doesn’t ?

Looks great. Needs a locking tailwheel (I’m guessing that it’s full swivel like the original?). Remember also that things scale by the square, in other words a 1/2 size replica would have 1/4 of the wing area and roughly 1/4 or the mass of the full size machine, so even a 3/4 size replica requires much less material and horsepower (dollars, pounds, euros…) than full size-

Area will scale according to the square but volume and hence mass will scale by the cube. Therefore a half size would have 1/4 the area but 1/8 of the volume 😉

Fantastic affort in my opinion – well done !

Will the RAF be putting a CAP up to deal with any intrusions?

The other possibility is a/c flying under the radar…if a guy could fly across Russia and land in Red Square at the height of the cold war……

Might I ask..what was the purpose of having these two schemes? Different colours for different theatres/roles I can understand but this doesn’t make sense to me.

Flying a plane is easy. If it were dificult, ground crew would be made to do it!

    ..Yes!

The three circles sometimes on the head of the bolt, more often on one of the ‘flats’ as per the nut shown.

If I remember correctly, the ‘three circles’ on the flat is or can be a marking used by the manufacturer of the hexagonal bar ( overlapping circles run the whole length of the bar ) and not necessarily a ‘unified’ marking. I believe this lead to the fitment of the wrong type of bolts or nuts on an aircraft which led to an incident a few years ago although I can’t remember the details ( aircraft windscreen panel ?? )
