My 2 cents worth. Flat sided fuselage reminds of, but it’s not, an E.E. Lightning. Prity sure it’s a dive brake but.
Funny you should say that as just a few miles from my home there is a small collection of Jaguars parked in a field.;)
Neat one, but I would have thought they’d be better off under cover. Whist still on the subject (sorry for thread stealing) Have you seen this Jag. NICE
I often travel along a lane near Woodmancote in Sussex and through the trees I can make out what looks like a Jaguar parked on a farm. Having done some snooping via Google Maps I wonder if it belongs to a company called Hayward and Green. Maybe they will take an offer?
Good luck and let us know how you get on.
For the want of something better to do, I just GoogledEarthed Horn Lane. No Jaguars there as far as I can see. Weren’t looking a a car were you:diablo:

Correction. Gary is the designer and company owner but he wasn’t flying that day, but it was his plane.
Here’s the link to his website http://www.morganaeroworks.com.au/about.html
Never mind who flew or serviced them, what happened to the planes? Any surviving?
Just received these photos from Gary (owner/builder/pilot). One very lucky man.
Correct Peter, and thanks Moggy, apology accepted.
There is still a lot of speculation as to how this happened. Here’s our home link for the discussion.

Quote from the video Peter has posted, ” Mark EX”
Ignorant (person) …. It’s “Mark TEN”. Jees, didn’t you learn anything at school?

As an Air Radar Fitter, I had to squeeze past the radar bullet quiet often as it tended to get stuck and couldn’t be pulled out from the front but needed some persuasion from behind. In those days I was a lot slimmer than I am now and actually enjoyed being in there. Mind you, it a lot brighter in there without the intake blank fitted. I don’t recall any guide vanes though so when were they introduced. I was with 19(Leconfield), 23(Luechars) and 74(Coltishall) Sqdns.
During WW2, Lady Weiall’s home was requisitioned by the RAF and it became the Officers Mess for 617 Squadron. Today, it is owned by my cousins and is a luxurious hotel in which, the bar is dedicated to the Dambusters.

From Flt/Sgt to officer? A ‘field promotion’ perhaps?
