Didn’t see this until I’d replied to the first thread. Mods, can’t these be made into one to save double posts and confusion. Ta.

Very nice Paul. 2 things to comment on though, I thought it is illegal to fly towards the spectators, see Strikemaster, and, with such a calm sea, it’s a pity the Catalina didn’t do a splash and go.

Looking rather sad but at least it’s in a nice sling. Someone cared at least.

Hughie lived on Essex Way, South Benfleet for a while. Although the road ran behind my school, King Johns Sec. Mod on Shipwrights Drive, I never saw him. For you youngsters who also never saw him, here is the man we’re talking about.

Thanks Moggie, back to basics. Tom Cruise, an arrogant ****, just like Bader himself (I’ve met him) and that’s about the only thing he could bring to the film. Bader was English for god’s sake. Surely there’s an English actor good enough, and well known enough to play the part and pull the crowds to watch the film if it’s made.
Cruise would be as big a mistake as Tom Hanks was in the Davinci Code.

Probably not right but my association with sailing says it’s a channel marking buoy. where the A-36 fits with that I’m not so sure.

A thoroughly nice video spoilt by constant speeding up, slowing down and noise altering effect. Such a pity. I couldn’t watch it to the end.

With limited knowledge………..apparently, animals cannot be re-incarnated but humans can. Yes I know, we are a ‘form’ of animal but with a much higher brain function. Re-incarnation, believe it or not, is widely believed, myself included. Please don’t put me and my kind down just because you don’t believe or understand.
Ghosts are non re-incarnated spirits and can appear in many ways. Have I seen one, yes, several times but the most telling was years ago whilst hitching a lift back to my RAF station. Very early morning, cold and a bit misty. A kind post-office van driver picked me up(against company rules but hey, who was watching) and as we approached camp, we rounded a bend and there, in the middle of the road was a woman in a long crinoline type dress. We were so close that the driver swerved to miss her but failed to do so. There was no noise, no bump but we went through her. We skidded to a stop. Needless to say, we were both shook up. “Did you see that?” was the only thing he said, didn’t even swear or curse. “Yes” I said, and we drove on in complete silence to the camp gates. He was still very white when I got out of the van. Make of it what you will but please, keep an open mind.
