From a Helicopter sitting in the snow to a Dog doing the same. 😀
Geoff.
Dog must be beneath the snow ’cause all I get is a white space (no image)
Someone give him permission to post photo. I’m intrigued.
Since the advent of Quadcopters and Gopro cameras, aerial photography has taken really off. This is an excellent example, and for once, suitable and moving music as well. Well done by who-ever.
Deskpilot, I might have known someone would nit pick over that one but as you say still a nice pic.
ME, Nit-pick, Never. lol.
The Lightning is out of place due to the photo being taken around mid-day. Nice picture all the same.
What would those hinged extensions be for. Looks damn uncomfortable to me.
Wyvernfan, surprised you haven’t retrieved that S.4 from the fiord. LOL
I wonder when he thought it was time to go for the flaps. Wouldn’t have thought that they would normally be deployed for a loop.
…….Sad really, particularly as I am old enough to remember the Lightning formation team in action.
And I am old enough to have worked on them. Ex 19, 23 and 74 Sqdn’s member. Oh such happy days.
Lovely shots Phil. but don’t you just wish some-one would pull the stick back and go for it.
Having nothing better to do this morning, I went onto Google-Earth and via Street View, the only thing I could find that might be mistaken for a memorial, was an old Mile Stone. Could that be it?

Completely not what you are after but somewhere I have a photo of a Submarine off Wormit circa 1909 that you are welcome to a scan of if you are interested.
Adrian
Thanks Adrian but not what I’m after.
His name is Darren ‘Gracelands’ Jones and he’s just won the Welsh Elvis Tribute Artist for the third year running.
I usually skip this thread ’cause I’m not into hard rock etc. How-ever, I thought I might as well post a video that I’m personally linked to. The artist is my wife’s nephew.
I’ve asked this question as well. I’m guessing that there are plenty of airframes good enough to be restored to flight conditions. Problem might be in finding working engines though. I’d love to see one flying again.
