i can see squared off edges for rounded surfaces, for example the landing gear door.
mixtec, you simply cant compare and contrast the two.
I think the Dornier 335/pfeil was the first aircraft fited with an ejection seat (and explosive bolts on the props)
flood, crackin photos and drawings…..thanx very much, I wonder, yo see the sturgeon just above the drawings could anyone shine a light on what type of engines they are and if they are a simple swap of the engines in the drawing immediately below it…
I like the aeroplane in that pick with hte ASV(?) nose and am planning to make it in a flight sim……so any help on specs (which I seem to draw short on) would be great!
thanx guys, is anyone else able to comment, mr caruana are you still around??
in deep search for a decent 3-view or even better any kind of plans to do with the shorts sturgeon!
superb photos!
doesnt look that great to me mixtec…why they cant even get the mirrored image on the stbd side of the tail corrected before release??
LOMAC is better visually than this, and whilst the physics engine takes time, the ‘simple’ task of animating parts properly (lets see you animate the gear on the F16) is not to be scoffed at.
coanda
which came first the 318 or the 321??
I expect you’ll find that there are some thrust limits so as not to too easily get to vne or through the mach limiting speed(which can be very close to cruise speed) or somthing like that.
you can be sure that both are adequate for their job.
I have both the fighter and bomber project books, they are indeed very interesting.
spot on elp….
v-stab looks awfully small, otherwise, interesting yet effective looking….
consider the rules of engagement in use today we see that BVR is not an option. positive ident is needed, and even with the ‘sniper’ scopes that I used to sea eagles sporting we are into ‘visual range’ so close in tactics if your actually going to have to ident these aircraft is important.
and if you can get the angle, do you really need the excess power???
this aircraft would have ruled airspace and piddled all over strike eagles…….If there is one aircraft that i would like to see in flight…even if it meant giving up aviation as the forfeit…it would be the TSR2….I’d be happy basket-making then.
looks good by my standards!!
gdl, no one was telling the thousands of people to move on…they stopped that malarky years ago…I remember the humour of watching three usaf security troops trying to stop approximately 5000 people at a time taking photo’s of a U-2……couldnt see em for dust!
