I kinda liked a series of later eposides where everything surrounding the alien presence managed by the “cancer man” came to a head in a bunch of rapid fire episodes.

RE: From Grange Hill to Eastenders to Spandau

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 22-02-03 AT 10:02 PM (GMT)]Being a WWII freak the name of that band always got me; Spandau Ballet. My first thought was; “You mean the MG42 factory???” }>

Common name the German troopers gave the MG42 was “Spandau” (from the region of which it came)

    RE: SS Enterprise……………

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 22-02-03 AT 09:53 PM (GMT)]One more mistake like that DC and they might beam you into a wall or something. 😀

It is such a shame that the reputation of the Enterprise as a famed naval vessel through out history had to be destroyed by that weakling Picard }>

Bridge staff: “Captain we are under attack!”

Picard: “Lets have a group hug and try our best on how to understand the feelings of the enemy”

    RE: Eastenders

The rerun they had of Faulty Towers the other day was “The American” where a pushy American visits the hotel. “I want a waldorf salad!”

(btw the guy that played the American in that episode you will see him in a small part as a Marine Colonel in the movie “Full Metal Jacket”.)

    RE: Artillery

On a big level I wonder. Iraq in 91 had a hell of a lot of artillery. Didn’t do too much good though because we took away their eyes.

It does have a use. But if you don’t have control of the air and are using towed artillery your life span could be short. You need something that moves right after it fires.
