    RE: Artillery

On a big level I wonder. Iraq in 91 had a hell of a lot of artillery. Didn’t do too much good though because we took away their eyes.

It does have a use. But if you don’t have control of the air and are using towed artillery your life span could be short. You need something that moves right after it fires.

    RE: GeForce

Married by Elvis ??? Too much work. I figure it would take:

    *A shovel
*A couple small blocks of TNT and some blasting caps
    *And too much work.

I would think he would smell pretty bad after all this time. Not something you want at a wedding.

    RE: Eastenders

I never liked the show. I like a few of the British comedies better. Although I do like Wendy whatshername when she was in “Are You Being Servered?” A ridiculous silly show but funny. Of course the best British comedy of all time was Faulty Towers. “Manual !!!!!! ” “Se?” …….

    RE: SS Enterprise……………

The shape of the ship is what ever the writer / production staff say it is }>

The high point of “Buck Rogers in the 25th Century” or whatever that show was called in the 70s was Erin Grey each week in a different skin tight outfit.

RE: war in Irak and the Franco/German resistance

Good point Icarus but also a view with blinders: US supplied several tons of DIA intel. Looking even more at hindsight (years back) it looks like that Israeli strike against the French nuke reactor in Iraq using U.S. made aircraft was a good idea.

I don’t think Brussels would like all the UN people ignoring parking tickets and being a general pain in the neck. Why ruin Brussels? What did they do to deserve that ? }>

RE: How many sorties a day?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 12-02-03 AT 04:18 AM (GMT)]Yeah, you better appologize Sauron 🙂 (j/k) Anyway that was then, this is now. Today every jet flying off of those carriers will in most cases have a PGM or 2. A carrier commander recently said that because of PGMs like JDAM that the Carrier Air Wing has so much more effective firepower then it did during Desert Storm.
I would say most of the fixed targets that they need to take out will be gone after the first night.
