Good video, but I think you’ll find this one is the best of the best!! It is taken from a thread I did not long ago on the Fighter Meet at the Weald. I don’t have the info on who’s piccy it is I’m afraid!!

The mentioned 1/32 scale Beaufighter. Pretty big as you can see and a complete b*****d to built. The fuz just did not go together as it should! Still available, rereleased and manufactured by Revell.

Some excellant piccys coming out in this thread. I have still yet to see anyone with a photo of fighters with pyrotechnics involved though! Surely someone has one. Come on boys, dig deep!

Great images, still kick myself for actually missing seeing one of those things fly 🙁

which brings me back to the thread on Mildenhall I started not long ago. This was one of the main reasons for me missing the Hall so much. Since the departure of the SR71’s in 1987, this base has never really been the same!

This thread has worked out well. I have loads of Fighter Meet piccy’s but no scanner, I will be getting one this weekend. I have a couple of nice shots of a formation between the BBMF Spitfire and Hurricane and if I remember rightly an Air 2000 Boeing 757.

Time flies Phil indeed, but it only seems like yesturday……

This is I believe the earliest picture that I have of an SR71-17964 at the Hall in 1978!

Good moaning. 🙂

You don’t think the Aussies will let you get away with that – images of their premier warbird, the ‘overrated’ Spitfire MV239.

You’ll have ‘Setter’ spluttering in his cornflakes in about four hours time, so I thought I would mention it first.

I’ll dig you out some old Fighter Meet shots to balance the ‘glut’ of OW stuff that tends to surface this time of year. 🙂

CHEERS MATE!! You wasn’t supposed to see that! They were just two random pictures of a classic warbird I got!

How about these two, or are you going to moan at the fact that they are at Duxford and not North Weald!!!!!
