Well, now that you’ve actually put a question inside your post, it becomes understandable.

I guess you jst had to vent after a bad day, or something.
If you are so scared of them however, may I suggest you give up driving ? The road if for everyone to use. (And no, I don’t drive an SUV)

take two tablets now and two more at bedtime you need to relax remember, its not the car that kills but the driver:cool:

Cough up £5 for a car wash then. If you can afford a PC and an Internet connection to post this thread you should be able to muster that.:p

auto car washes are dangerous places, the brushes damage the paintwork ,the manual washes usually miss places ,and besides i prefer to do my own washing/valeting clearly you dont .

I’ve had exactly the same accusations thrown for owning a BMW and a Porsche, basic envy and stereotyping. I wonder what I will be accused of when I take delivery of the Ferrari?

At the end of the day, as long as you are not intentionally harming anyone especially children, then what business is it of anyone else what you drive. Let them wallow in their inferiority complex and envy.

the point is most of these vehicles drivers do not have any consideration for other road users nor do drivers of exotic sports cars as always there are a small minority of these car drivers who are very good drivers ,its a case of the majority spoiling it for the minority.eny isnt even a factor except in the individuals delusion.:D

I also own a 4×4. no its not a ‘chelsea tractor’, its not used for the school run and apart from a bad winter when I lived in a village it never has been. I have in fact owned a few, the Rangerover, A superb vehicle, tows well, big enough for a family of six, the muts were very happy in the back where they could not distract the driver. the Landrover (which i still own), capable tower if somewhat slow, great loadspace for lugging things, room for 12 people, I have owned a 2.8 daihatsu fourtrack that is small and exellent for towing as proved when I towed a jet prov cockpit with it. also I am a courtious driver, ALWAYS use my indicators (one of my pet hates). oh, and has anyone mentioned that ‘knocking 4×4’s is old hat now?. surely things have moved on like it did with knocking bmw drivers?. volvo drivers?. etc etc?. whats next?. I suggest the humble old 2CV, its slow, noisey, each polutes more than half a dozen 4×4’s due to its very unefficient engine. oh, and as far as safety is concerned, its crumple zone starts at the front bumper and ends at the rear one. (that said in jest btw)
To be honest moaning about people because of what vehicle they drive is far too generalising. tell me what car you drive and I can garentee within the next couple of weeks I will see one being driven badly by someone who needs their licence ripping up.
Remember, Its not the vehicle that makes a bad driver, Its the person behind the wheel.

My only issue with the drivers of these vehicles is that if I meet one on a narrow country lane in my distinctly non-four-by-four vehicle it always seems to be me that has to get out of the way…

…Oi!…you bought the off-roader…you drive in the ****ing ditch! 😡

you again! fair comment, the answer is dont be intimidated by their size and sit in the car smug personna ,de jeeped they are just mr or mrs joe public and fade to grey :diablo:
