I had the pleasure of taking part in a trip to Oshkosh and the east coast of the United States in 1986, organized by Air-Britain. I will post slide scans of this trip in several parts. Here is the first one, Chicago O’Hare on July 30th, 1986. The quality leaves to be desired as the slides were taken through windows and also because of the position of the sun.

2. N376WA: Boeing 707-373C, World Airways. April 3rd, 1969
3. G-ASGO: Vickers VC-10, British Airways. April 11th, 1974. This aircraft was damaged (see hole in the roof) after it was hijacked in flight on March 3rd, 1974. It diverted to Schiphol and was damaged by the hijackers after crew and passengers were released.

Think the Burma F-27 was brand-new in 1971
Good evening,
XY-ADQ was a F.27 Friendship Mk.600. C/n: 10452. First flight and delivery to Union of Burma Airways in February 1971, so it was brand-new, built at Schiphol. It was written off in June 1988 when it was operated by Burma Airways.
