I cannot authenticate the following account or the photos included.

According to a former JRViPVO or RVRS (?) pilot, these photos show the only RVRS J-21 JASTREB (serial no. 24275) which survived and recovered at Udbina airbase in Krajina following the encounter with four USAF F-16Cs over Bosnia on 28 February 1994. The aircraft was damaged by an AIM-9 proximity explosion and later suffered an engine failure due to fuel starvation while on final approach. Apparently, the aircraft was later repaired and received a new serial number (image no. 3).

A more final solution that would not need monitoring or outside interference?

Are you opposed to passive monitoring as well?

We will most likely never be able to agree on this issue as it is clear that we have fundamentally different views.

Ok, Thats cool but after the video I saw on PETA i’m considering veganism

Why? Isn’t vegetarianism good enough? What’s wrong with using surplus eggs and milk the animals don’t need anyway?
I think your parents have a point; you should take some more time to reflect over this.

Western people, living so long in the urbanised enverioment that they have lost completely their own part in that bigger picture and therefore in sudden fondes to this ‘alien’ and ‘foreing’ complex

    Good point (no offense heslop01).

and saying like there is a human way to kill somebody or something is just big pile of BS that i have ever heard

I disagree. Although the outcome is pretty much the same, I think there is a substantial difference between a quick and painless death and a death following a lasting state of deep pain and suffering. Define it as you wish.

I love all animals and think they shuld be left alone

Just a question: Do you feel the same way about spiders, snakes and mosquitoes as you do about kittens, dogs, cows and pigs, just to mention a few?

So you judge the performance of NATO and UN by NATO and UN personel?

Look, history speaks for itself. What happened, happened, and the UNPROFOR guys were right in the middle of it, trying to do their job in an impartial manner. That didn’t work out very well, and the string of violations against UN safe areas, exclusion zones and the no-fly zone, many which were perpetrated by Serb forces from Republika Srpska and Krajina, led the UN to sanction extended offensive operations against Bosnian Serb military units. It helped achieve UN and NATO key objectives.

The problem still festers. If they had left it alone perhaps the problems would have been dealt with by those involved.

Eventually the situation would have reached a conclusion in one way or another. However, after the events which took place during the spring and summer of 1995, the UN abandoned its somewhat passive policies and decided to extend the use of offensive force in order to achieve the objectives part of the Framework Agreement.

The heavy fighting near Sarajevo was ended after the UN allowed NATO to intervene in a heavy manner.

Why? It might be politically correct to give the weak sides more power so they can deal politically on equal terms but in reality that just fks things up.

I don’t know why, but perhaps it accelerated the process towards the Dayton agreement.

No point going on about this.

I guess we’ll have to agree to dissagree on this topic

OK. Although we don’t agree in detail, I respect your stance. It’s always good to add new dimensions to an issue.
