Yes please Dan!
The Aeroplane Collection can make use of all of them.
Will drop you a PM.

Ask me again in a week or two.
It is presently packed up in a removal van mid house move.

Front sets of propellers seem to be rather thin on the ground as we (The Aeroplane Collection) have had several inquiries about the set we have –

I’m making the assumption that someone on here (Mark12?) will know what it is!
You would hope so given that is Mark12 in the picture!

Lets hope for 10 or more years incident free flying this time.
She’s been under rebuild for 33 years all told!
You sure on that number? Worked started on G-BPIV around 1988, it flew again in 1993 and crashed in 2003. So that’s 16 years assuming work started straight away in 2003.
Or are you including the G-MKIV in that as well? Though I thought that took around 12 years to rebuild which makes 28 years of Blenheim/Bolingbroke restoration.
Either way, a wonderful restoration and look forward to seeing it in the air again.

Hmmm….ok.
I agreed to buy the whole thing as is on behalf of a group some weeks ago. I have been dealing with the owners directly and they have my contact details. It was just pending getting transport in place.
I best go make some phone calls I think!

Panic over!
The situation looks to have moved on somewhat – “it is going to be dismantled and sent to another Museum in the UK”

Having had recent dealings with the airport management at Caernarfon, and back when Prince G-AMLZ was extracted in 2007, I have dropped key people a line to try and find out more.

Oh the parts that Vampire could yield for VZ193……… 🙂

Looks to me like a Pitot tube

Interesting post to reawaken this thread……
To put things in context, my now deleted post prior to yours regarding the current location of ‘EYC’s fin was indeed a bit left field.
However having got a response, the matter was very quickly cleared up and so the final act was to delete said post and move on.

John Beecroft’s home was in Willaston, South Wirral – he was the Pilot; my Grandad (Jack Love) was Obs/Navigator…
The name Beecroft rings a bell….did he have any association with Hooton Park? Or maybe another family member did?

The asset number 78/E/264 suggests a major collection, and going by the ambient lighting/surroundings I would tentatively suggest the RAF Museum store at Stafford.

A complete prop should look something like this –

Though this example owned by The Aeroplane Collection has suffered from many many years outside attached to a gate!

As mentioned above group records state BZM was delivered to Stretford November 1962
As for ‘BEE, that came North over the weekend of 30th Nov/1st Dec 1963 packed in a 25ft glider trailer!
