Wouldn’t be the first, nor the last.
Remember Blackwater’s Super Tucano, discussed in this thread?
ATAC’s Kfirs?
http://www.atacusa.com/sections/company.htmlNothing indeed. It ain’t armed.
Since the owner company is civilian, what would you expect them to do?
Ask for a BuAir number? Or a tailcode and a fiscal year no.? Fly it unregistered?
For your information, there are MiG-23s, MiG-21s, L-29/39 with civilian registry in the US, so what’s the problem with a tanker?I guess the FAA should round up all those MiG-21, L-29, L-39 private owners and interogate them why did they paint their planes in military colors.
They should use civilian pink.
While we’re at it, please be so kind to teach us how to differentiate between military grey and civilian grey.
Very graceful. It goes, what deception, it believes that I am not going to waste more time.
That one belongs to a private US company, it’s got nothing to do with PAF’s Midas.
A private company buy a military aircraft? (The Midas is ex-ucranian), Import the plane to US soil, (Customs: Anything to declare? Nothing ๐ and registry the plane as civilian (ยกยกยกA Tanker with refuelling pods installed!!!) and repaint the plane in military grey? And nobody question?
Curious story. Now tell me the cover story ๐
Sorry for my non good english.
Regards from Spain.
Not sure Pakistan would see much use for it to be honest. The only fighters they have equipped for air to air refueling are their F-16s and these require a boom,so the Midas wouldn’t be of much use here.
Two almost received. Still no real photo available. The photo posted in Pakistan military forum is fake.

No happens in real life. No explosives under the Mig-25 nose to eject the radar… I think that the “Foxbat” pilot usually love his legs…:)

I’ve turned up two more images of lazy CHICOM personnel doing maintenance on a F-7NM destined for Namibia.:diablo:
Equatorial Guinean L-39C Albatross
I’d like to add that it looks horrendously confusing over Uzbek L-39 in terms of roundel applied on the vertical stabilizer.

N.Korean IL-14 Crate
From the western spotter’s viewpoint, It must have been kinda outrageously hard to see things like CAAK IL-14 Crate most of the time, as it were supposed to be regularly flying Beijing-Pyoungyang air-route only throughout the cold-war era.
Kazakhstan’s Mi-14 Haze:cool:
