    Take it back and get a new one – dont let them repair it. I bought a Konica Minolta Z2 in May at internet prices from Jessops and the veiwfinder went wrong a couple of weeks ago. I took it back and was offered a straight replacement, but as I had done a bit of research beforehand I managed to get it swapped for a Z3 and got some cash back!! 🙂

    As it was cruising it sounded a bit different to the ‘music’ we hear at shows! but I think it was definately a Grif – although I would say it sounded both Snarly and Throaty!!

    Saw them too – makes friday afternoon feel better!!- they seemed to be following the A46! The spit seemed to be playing around the back of the Lanc for a bit before darting off high to the left

    what a job! 😉

    Regarding the Dak – N47NK – anyone know who operates this? Was this one of the two (the other being the Southcoast Airways example) which were in storage at an airfield near the Solent (can’t remember the name of the airfield but it was on the tele a few months ago as there was a programme about a campaign to stop an asylum centre being built there. In one of the shots the Southcoast Airways, and a camo DC3 were parked in the background)

    SallyB did an excelent 20 minute ‘flypast’ at the 398 reunion at Nuthamstead a couple of weeks ago and that was over a pub!

    I dontknow if this helps or not – but the length of the flypast/display may be dependant upon a number of issues/commitments

    This is all getting a bit confusing as only yesterday I recieved a news letter from VTTS saying that they need to raise around 500K before the green light!

    Throughout this campaign there always seems to be conflicting/confusing messages being given out.

    Having said that I truly hope to see XH558 in the air again soon and hope that everything comes good for her!

    Looks like they have put in some incredible work to make her look and go that well!!

    I thought the runway looked a bit dirty though!

    Wish I could have made it but DIY got in the way!
