medal64I think the biggest reason of the dealy of the final agreement and start work of indian version is just Russian specialists are too much busy with the development of the Russian single seater version and sukhoi company doesn’t have enough specialist or don’t want to lose some of them now for the development of Indian version.Even at the Su 30mki brahmos integration work,there will be HAL specialists because of the sukhoi guys are busy with the development of the PAK-FA!And they both say (HAL and SUKHOI) they will develop an two seater version for India.But in my opinion,now it’s not the right time but after the Russian version’s first flight they can start to work for the two seater version.

medal64In my opinion even if the India wouldn’t join the PAK-FA project Sukhoi company had a plan of creating the 2 seater and naval pak-fa versions and they did the detailed work about these versions.And if the first statement is right by mr. pogosyan,they will do the first flight of the basic versions of the two and one seater pak-fa prototypes in a year.But these prototypes at first stage will be just for testing airframe,stealth and flight caresteristics….Both Russian and Indian version’s latest elctronic and weapon systems are not ready.And they will develop these systems and integrate the latest composite materials conjuction with the Indian industry.So In my opinion to fly both version this year is not impossible!!!
