“I used to live directly across the road from Susanna York….”

Careful Plazz, Moggy will be wanting pictures….especially any sneeky ones:D 😉

Well, famous people… quite a few through work in film and television industry.
Sean Connery; Richard Gere; Jeremy Irons; Julia Ormonde; Ewan MacGregor; Alan Parker; Eddie Izzard
Most of the the cast of Eastenders, the Bill, Casualty(oooh… Claire Goose;)), Londons Burning, Grange Hill, Emmerdale, Dalziel and Pascoe and many more.

Had a very pleasant tea and chat with (then) Sir ****ie (Richard then for the Webby…) Attenborough and Anthony Hopkins one afternoon.

Went to school Jay kaye and an Asian Prince.

At my cousins wedding ended up in the boxing ring with Jo Bugner Jr and Dave ‘Boy’ Green… mind you not at the same time and we were all totally lashed with booze. The ring was inflatable and the gloves were huge (thank God!).

    I guess I’ve been lucky.

Born in Huntingdon, (Cambridgeshire) then moved to a small village near Ramsey. Got packed off to school over near Rugby, then onto Ashley’s neck of the woods, Oakham (Rutland) until moving onto Cambridge for a couple of years.
London, Bristol, Cirencester, Leicester, London (again) and Reading last year (ran a lovely l’il cinema in Henley) for a while before moving to Ramsey area (all work related).
Strange, but always (excepting London) tend to end up living within a few minutes walk of an airfield…

Leah, shouldn’t you be atop a Stearman instead of a P51?:D!

… yep, Chris, totally agree, ‘lucky’ just isn’t the word though. Just need that Lottery win and go buy one!… or two…

Hey Ashley:D:D I was hoping to pick them up from Duxford, but now have to be in London tomorrow anyhow…. Just please tell me that you haven’t polished the film instead of the Spitfires! ;):D:p

If you do manage to get over then you’ll find me on ‘projection duty’, come into the Bar (downstairs) and ask.

Anyone else, message me through this site.

Looking like a really good weekend.

    Bank Holiday weekend….

    Mix of good and bad….

Good:D went to a fantastic ‘boat party’ near Soham/Upware on Saturday night/Sunday morning, over-indulged with the ‘fire water’ and regretted it later.
Got woken at about 08-30 Sunday by various microlights, C5 Galaxy (very low!), Mustang, low-ish and heading north west (Janie?) then a mysterious Pa22 (a bit too high to make out the reg) flew over before heading east…Moggy C? (or was it too early!?). The ‘parting shot’ was the BBMF flying over as we headed back to the marina near Ely.

Bad: Loosing my mobile phone with all my numbers in…:(
