remember just 3 OHIO class subs = over 400 cruise missiles On top of the F-22s B-2s B-1s and B-52s flying from CONUS. and the carrier strike groups havent even shown up yet.

And they are going to send 200 T-50s at 170 raptors + 2000+ F-35s?

In summary, the USAF (plus NATO satellite air forces) are by far the most powerful AF of the world. But this is not enough to attack China or Russia as Iraq or Serbia were attacked. Lol, even they are nervous in face of Iran (may be here a nasty asymmetric Persian retaliation affect the equation).

This seems like a major redesign. Taking off the rear nozzle with tail feathers and all and designing a new one seems like a lot of work.
If the rear nozzle and the front fan doors are both in position, isn’t there any heat mitigation from the huge amount of thrust (20K) washing down from the cold source. This s how it was portrayed in a F-35 video i cant seem to locate.

The Chinese have spent a lot of money thinking of ways to try and defeat AWACs and tankers with Su-27s and long ranges missiles. They are working hard tryign to build anti-carrier missiles. They are trying to find ways to shoot down U.S. sats they are working hard to make sure that on the 1st day they can hit maybe 2K aim points. they dont realize the U.S. could easily hit 1k-2k aim points a day for weeks What difference does this all make if the first day strikes will all come from CONUS, and the 3-5 OHIO class subs stationed off the coast. As a U.S. citizen I want the Chinese to think Su-27s matter. I want them to focus on trying to attack 1 or 2 carriers thinking that sinking one will make the other 9 stop and make a U-turn. This is history repeating,

The only way I will be afraid of the Chinese is when they start fielding SLBMs in large enough numbers to hit the the majority of CONUS and field subs that dont cause ear damage from how loud they are to the users

S-125 has radar guidance. Even if they saw the F-117 through night vision scope or thermal imager, they would still have no means to kill it with a missile. It was inevitable that they picked it up on the radar.

I’m not pretending to know every thing that happened Im just repeating what was in the article i saw. and if they used a optical sight then the plane was either lased, or they volly fired the SAms and got close.
