Is it even theoretically possible, twins with different fathers certainly, triplets with two different fathers even…..but triplets with three different fathers?

My original post was intended as a joke to highlight the tone of the article from the Sun.

You all knew that, right? 😉

Maybe she could be like a Chicken. Store a selection of “Donations” and discard the ones she doesn’t like. LoL.

I was hoping Jeremy would get even better at his cutting remarks. It’s the only sane programme on the TV in this PC pathetic world.

SIR Jeremy, as he should be, would do well with Sabina, or even Will Young. He seemed to fit in well when he was on, and he can pass as a woman.

I know it’s late but come on people!

    …three…triplets…by…a…different…father?

It’s possible, 3 different eggs can come down. It would have to be a bit of a party night to get all 3 fertilised by different dads within a few hours of each other. But it’s “Possible”.
Twins / mults can be identical or not, depends if it’s seperate eggs or, in the case of identicals, a single egg which splits early on after fertilisation. Monozygotic IIRC is the term.

I don’t remember the other memorial…..well it doesn’t have a tank does it!
………….he shook my hand and I remember him being close to tears.

To get to the Tank, you had to pass the original / official memorial. It’s half way along that road to the Tank, on the edge of what I think is one of the best beaches in the UK.

Likewise when I met him! Nice fella.

    Damn.
I didn’t see this thread until now.

Last year (Exactly 12 months ago) I bought the 450D plus the same stock lens AND the Tamron 70-300…..I guess you are using Jessops? I shopped around like crazy but Jessops had the best deal at the time, to my annoyance.
Anyway, I would have said don’t get the Tamron. I found it cheaply built and there was an uncomfortable softness of the pictures (I tested it with a Canon and the difference was so marked it was unnaceptable IMO (Even for the vast price difference). The softness grew worse toward the edge of lens (Which is common).
Fork out a little more and get a Sigma, or for out even more and get a Canon.

…don’t forget, this is Ken Small’s memorial, near the Start Bay pub. The official one (With the flagpoles etc.) is up the road.

    Base unit of PC.
100gb of photographs on there, plus other stuff.

…..and yes, they are backed up but if there’s a chance to grab the base unit…

Indeed, and we get so pissed off with the Saving Ryan’s Privates and Objective Burma where the Americans win the war single-handed and then when we come to a tragedy like Slapton, where the US took the hit, all the BBC can do is print that same old UK soldier image.

Apologies to all our US contributors on behalf of the BBC

    Moggy

    Totally disgusted at the BBC.
I know this area very well and have visited since 1975, well before the Tank was dragged up as a memorial. I have a signed copy of “The forgotten dead” by Ken Small (The chap who tirelessly campaigned for the memorial).
    I support the apology.

    No need now.
The trijet was to overcome the ETOPS “No twins” attitude. Now that twins can cross the pond, and the engines are getting safer and safer…..and more economical, I doubt if we see a trijet again. 3 engines is 50% more maintenance costs than a twin, too.
You could build a twin engined design to lift the A380, but the wings would need to be considerably higher off the floor (Probably top mounted), which would mean a fuse mounted undercart.
It would also mean a dihedral wing, which is not as economic as the anhedral, and doesn’t lend itself to winglets or other aerodynamic improvement ideas.
