If that’s true I wish the BBC would use some of the money they get from selling TG to buy some decent original shows rather than foisting countless repeatedly repeated repeats on the licence paying public.

Aye…….I read somewhere that a significant part of the Beebs income goes on serious stuff such as Dave Attenborough’s programmes……….and the wages of Eastenders. The latter (As is the Street) is like the Sun and Mirror, aimed at keeping the thick, thick.

…but you are assuming it is a car show. It’s an entertainment show which has cars in it. In that role, it is superb.

The only “Car” show aimed at car freaks is “Wheeler dealers” or “An MG(And the others he’s done) is born”

Weapons are prohibited on merchant vessels, end of story.

Start killing Pirates just because they ARE Pirates and I would fear for the 200 hostages currently held by same Pirates.

These attacks and hi jackings are taking place in a million square miles of ocean through which pass over 90,000 vessels a year. Last year about a hundred were attacked, which makes it a miniscule problem in terms of insurance and in no way jutifies a convoy system.

I stated that the ships should be manned by a couple of troops with their weapons of choice. That is not prohibited.

Size of the patch doesn’t make it less of a crime, it does make a difference to the insurance.
They need to be shown that this cannot be allowed, they need blasting out of the water. It would only take a few examples to make them realise. Just like the USM corp in Sierra Leone, a head shot to the leader of the baddies. No more problems.

    Companies choose the cheapest! :dev2:

In my experience Snap-On tend to be the favourite.

    Absolutey NOT!
Draper, or any other cheap Chinese garbage would not be allowed in my Aircraft factory nor near any aeroplane.
I’m not naming, but our tools are American made, (1) sometimes Brazillian (As they are the only country/place outside Sheffield that have truly mastered the art of making Stainless Steel actually stainless (To the 22 chemicals under MoD testing)

    (1) There are no quality British tools anymore. Sad, but true. The British names just pack them, the kit is made in China, and it’s rubbish. Use once is fine, then bin it.

That does sum up the audience pretty well!

I don’t watch Top Gear much these days, but I do enjoy it as general entertainment – admittedly, it doesn’t tell me anything useful about any car I’m ever likely to buy.
But if the BBC do end up putting a female presenter on TG then they’d better be fair and put Jeremy Clarkson on Radio 4’s Women’s Hour.:diablo:

Me too. But I generally don’t miss an episode, simply for the entertainment. Very especially the one-offs such as the Space shuttle and the Winter Olympics.
Anti-Clarkson types should watch the programmes he did on Izzy Kingo Brunell and JC’s father-in-law (The VC winner). Superb TV in my opinion.

She is already on the German version of Top Gear.

Which we beat in the competition. We even arrived in Spitfires!

You don’t have to; you can come from the other direction…

…but as you say, you can pass the other memorial…..and that’s exactly what I did last time I was there…..I drove past it. 😮

    Yes, nice fella.

    Other direction?
    Oh yeah. From inland.

Is it even theoretically possible, twins with different fathers certainly, triplets with two different fathers even…..but triplets with three different fathers?

My original post was intended as a joke to highlight the tone of the article from the Sun.

You all knew that, right? 😉

Maybe she could be like a Chicken. Store a selection of “Donations” and discard the ones she doesn’t like. LoL.
