Pepsi is a preference for me, but if I’m in the mood for a fizzy soft drink it’s Irn Bru or Root Beer for me. Or cloudy lemonade.

Coke is better for cooking than Pepsi though. Chicken Roasted in Coke is a Joy. As is Beer-Can duck.

I prefer the different ones.

I used to run, looooooooong runs, but my knees are now shot.

I think you’ll find that’s the stereotype we are trying to get rid of, we are surprisingly competitive against the likes of Tesco/Sainsburys etc ;).

Stereotype? But Waitrose are proud to be measured in the same league as Snobburys.
I am occasionally forced to go into Sainses as they are the only UK outlet for Root beer. McShyte used to sell it, but I was the only purchaser.
I used to go into Waitrose at Christmas because they do nice bread rolls and such. No Waitrose where I live now, they were going to move in but have since lost the bottle.

I (We) could not afford to shop in Sbobs/Waits/M&S for the weekly grub. Some of the prices are more offensive than child porn. That’s the way it is, Snobs and Waits are very proud to be aloof from Aldi/Lidl/Netto/ASDA etc.

As for judging people on appearance….we all do it, and we should all hone it. Because our true feelings are usually not wrong. It isn’t just clothes, any tramp can throw on a decent suit……it’s poise/gait/facial expressions/presence.
People who say “F off” a lot have a mouth shaped to do so. Look at the pikey chavs on such as J Kyle show or Trippa, or any of the brain dead shows on daytime TV. A chav dressed up is still a chav and they stand out like a runway beacon.
If I don’t like someone initially, I am not likely to like them ever. Tolerate of course, but not seek to broaden the friendship.

As for fat…..I’m just ripe.

Granted she was a mother and a human being, but in no way do I think what she ‘did’ in her life deserved as much (if any) coverage. There have been many more great people with as severe or more severe illnesses, that have not had as much attention – and deserved it. There are far greater things going on in this world than some loud mouth having a (granted, terminal) illness and they deserve the column inches. I am glad I won’t have to hear about this anymore (except, no doubt, the funeral coverage over the next week or so).

ITYF that the other people did not crave or seek the attention. She did, and power to her for that. The scrape tests have shot up since she went public.

I only know of JG because of the news coverage of her comment to Shetty and of course this lot. The public get what the public want, the public allow such garbage as BB to be on, so when the contestants are propelled into the limelight, it’s no use saying they don’t deserve it. They deserve it because people with zero brains and far less intellect phone in to vote.
This made her a “Celebrity”, like it or not.
