    Mud is actually OK.

I make my own crisps. Deep fry the potato peelings for about 25 seconds (Oil has to be at the temperature of the Sun!). Add salt. Sorted.

Sutcliffe has served over thirty years in side most of it in high security.
Even if they do release him i don’t think he could cope with life outside.

    ?
    over 30?
    I remember it well, 1981 to 2009…that’s 27.
He was done for 13 women, he confessed to many more but the Police didn’t prosecute further as they already had enough to bang him away. “It wouldn’t be in the public interest” to follow up on his other confessions, I seem to remember the classic comment by the Police of the day.

The point is, we don’t care if he could survive outside. He should stay in solitary…minimum.

Throw a few grenades in there!
    If it lives, it floats….dead.

I laughed at “Murky Waters” when describing Bondi beach.
The Sat. images prove that it is poo, from the treatment works along the coast. You don’t so much swim, but just go through the motions!

Or, are you going to tell me thay’ve cleaned it up now?

I can live with “Prop” errors. They stretch the budget and do their best.
I cannot live with the deliberate lies and scriptwriting (Americans won the war etc.), which can be checked by a few phone calls.

Unless, of course, they stone him to death in which case you’ll presumably be demanding the nuking of Yorkshire….. :p

I agree with Steve – let him rot.

I can never demand the nuking of Yorkshire. I am a Lancastrian by birth…..but I know good ale and good eating when I have it. Timmy Taylors landlord bitter and a 4kg dinky pie from York, some Rhubarb from “The triangle”. What more is needed.

As for him, yes he should have been hung. He was attacjed in Jail wasn’t he…lost an eye. LoL.

    Anybody have any recommendations ??
A friend of mine does not use her car very often and only short journeys !
So she sometimes has a flat battery.
Prefer one that ‘plugs in’ rather than using ‘croc’ clips on battery.

    cheers baz

It actually needs a full charge from a proper charger. 24 hour job. The alternator can only get you to about 75% full (Which is plenty if you use it daily). I used to believe that a long run on a car (2 hours or so) would fully charge a battery, I mentioned it in a car forum and “Was put right”.
So, on a 75% charge, leaving it for a week or so….the clock and alarm will drain it. If she has an old banger with no alarm, then there is a short somewhere.

If they phone me out of the blue trying to sell me stuff i dont want or need, they get as far as ” your postcode has been selected” or “good evening Mr …… i would like to talk to you about blah, blah, blah then they get one sentance NO THANK YOU NOW F*@*> O*@ and put the phone down.
    Makes me smile
It may not be big or clever …but they started it!:D

Exactly. As I said, they got the (Mine anyway) number by clandestine means so I have a right to vent a little.

That is very true – they are only trying to earn a living and telesales probably is their last resort.

Nevertheless, what they do is intrusive and irritating and we’re only human – we get irritated. But how many sales do they actually make? One for every ten calls would be quite a generous estimate, which means that more than 90% of their job consists of annoying people without any positive or productive outcome. There aren’t many jobs that have that effect.

At home we screen our calls with an answerphone, but you’ve still got to check who’s ringing in case it’s an important call. We have also subscribed to the call preference service, but we still get a few telesales calls. I think it is only companies that have signed a call preference agreement who can be penalised.

Whenever I have ended up accepting a call I’ve usually been abrupt rather than rude. I used to wind them up by acting stupid – making them go through their routine several times, pretending I didn’t know what double glazing was and so-on. It was fun for me and stopped them calling anyone else for a while so overall it was a constructive exercise. But it used to wind my wife up even more than them if she could hear me, so I had to stop.

I cannot accept this “Only trying to make a crust” lark. They are trained to expect abuse.

Phones with “Display number” are no use. A lot of my family and friends call from their work, and those company systems always hide numbers. This is the NHS, Council, DoD, MoD etc.

TPS, I’ll look into that. But I do enjoy the sport of it :dev2:.

    Oh dear.
“Very unlikely”, when spoken from the corrupt corridors of UK politics means that there is a chance he can be let out.

I don’t give a hoot if “He’s no longer dangerous”, what the hell does that matter. He got 20 lifes, so he should rot in there. (Well no actually he should have been given the death sentance)

No problem, if he’s let out he will be killed by relatives of his victims; and rightly so.
