Steve, sheer common sense tells us that there’s a world of difference between an animal that has been specifically bred and reared for slaughter and a predator in the wild following it’s instincts.

And please don’t insult the punters.

You know what a delicate, sensitive bunch they are….. 😉

Hunting cattle is just no fun. Aim a gun at them and they come over, all curious, with those big gooey eyes.
If sharks were so clever, it’s about time then, during it’s millions of years of development, that it (As a species) knew that humans are bad news and being superior are likely to kill it. But no, the dumb things keep lurking. Most other species run/swim like hell!

I thought the rule was 100 years, the 98 being a concession. Dunno why.

My lot are from Germany, my uncle has traced us back to 13plonk. Knights in armour etc. At that level, Church records are used, not census.
In 17plonk, two of our family were hung for grand theft horse, or whatever it was called back then. We’ve got Boar war heroes WW1 deaths (well who hasn’t!). All fascinating stuff.

Can’t beat fresh Shark steak. Like any foodstuff, it tastes even better if it is self hunted.
The sea might belong to the Shark, but it’s our planet. If anything/body endangers our kids, we off it. Offing stuff just for sport is probably not a good thing, but for food and protection, it’s our right as the Planet leaders. (Vegetarians and deeply gullible/brainwashed Local Authority workers have now fainted LoL)

We’re having a BBQ tomorrow, no Shark, just the usual stuff – Burgurs/Bangers/Chicken and Chops followed by Chocolate stuffed Banana. Oh, and in the oven, Australia’s only contribution to the cooking world….Beer Can Duck.
It will be 1 deg C outside, I’ll be cooking stuff and bringing it in!

    I use:

    Amount: 128%
    Radius: 0.5
    Threshold: 0

    To each there own 🙂

We’ve been here before….I use 25% (Or less) at a time and nudge it up. It gives a better result as you are not destroying the pix. with one hit….and you can step it back using the history tools.

And, the pictures on here don’t look over-sharpened to me, there is no sign of glitter/sparkly bits, even in the bare trees behind – an area likely to show up sparkle. I agree on the composition though.

PMN (And tuthers)…..what are you looking at to judge over-sharpening?

What is the type of hard drive installed? Make, model, connector? If internal, it should not appear in the remove hardware window in the first place.

I refer the honourable gentleman to the answer I gave some moments ago.

It’s a SATA drive. Non removeable.

A favour required please….related to this subject.
I have posted a question on Microsoft Discussion Windows Update. I cannot see the question (For some reason that maybe related to this subject), but I have an Email notification of an answer. The thread is “Update failure, I think I know why but not how to fix it”. Could a kind soul please post me the answer on here or by PM?

Control Panel>User accounts. Anything other that a computer administrator level account should (though not tested here) prevent meddling with hardware.

No, the basics are right. I’m the admin, the lad has a limited account. The fact is that the HDD should never be visible in the “Remove Hardware” icon.

That vid is at least a year old, I’m surprised this forum hasn’t had it B4.

Darn stupid, surely Helicopter pilots are aware (From training) that this sort of thing won’t work?
Or, are we to assume that training abroad in India (Or wherever) is not as thorough as UK/USA/Yerp?

    Hi tenthije.

Kids have a seperate account, but when I tried to put net-nanny on that account, the settings also applied to the main account too.

As for the “Safely Remove Hardware” notification, as far as I know that isn’t adjustable at the account level.
