    Hi tenthije.

Kids have a seperate account, but when I tried to put net-nanny on that account, the settings also applied to the main account too.

As for the “Safely Remove Hardware” notification, as far as I know that isn’t adjustable at the account level.

Some types actually “Hijack” your registry. Here is the link to a free program that will clean bad stuff out of the registry. There is a pay version, but it doesn’t do much more than the free version.

    http://www.malwarebytes.org/

Lavasoft AD-Aware is also good and free. It will get rid of the Trojans.
    Spybot is another. Google them.

    Good luck.

    Cheers.
I managed to sort this out in stages.
I downloaded both Malware and Super antispyware (Free) and scanned / deleted anything they found. I was then able to get my Sophos anti virus back on (I couldn’t before) so at least I felt totally covered (I was temp. using AVG free – which is superb but Sophos is best in show).
A full sophos scan revealed one or two more files which I deleted.
I then ran all three programmes again (This was Christmas eve afternoon BTW!) in Safe mode. More files found and deleted.
I then ran a repair installation on Windows XP pro and (Touchwood) all seems fine.

I still have a User account (One of my old ones) that I cannot delete. There are 141 files in it which I cannot see nor delete. But they alls seem to be dead.
If I try and delete the folder I get a msge of “AGF AGF AGF AGF Sangen cannot find the file specified”
In MSDOS, the DIR listing has mine, my sons and then one with a dot . and another with two dots .. I assume one of the dots is this directory I can’t delete, the other is a System directory created by Windows on the rebuild.

Oh, the culprit……I’m certain it was a patch (So called!) to repair Correl Painter Classic. Msge “Not enough memory to run Painter” appeared so I typed that in Google and found what looked like a credible explanation and a downloading file. Me a Fool! I took a total of 45 hours to repair the machine (I took note ‘cos I’m a geek sometimes)

…but, left is always the port side :diablo:

    No it int.

Facing backwards, like in a lot of military and some BizJets I fly in, my left is Stbd. (Can’t beat climbing at +60 degrees incline with Champagne in your hand!)

On normal flights I don’t care which side, so long as I’m slightly aft of the wing. I like to watch the trailing edge work (And steal ideas to improve) (Did I type that out loud!!!). Also – Rear Spar to Fuse joint is probably the strongest part to be sat above.

I am 18 and for the last 2 Christmases have been glued to this on the 24th. You are never too old for Santa!! 🙂

Now that you’re 18, it’s time you were told. 🙂

(But, I will be logging on and literally lying to my 6 year old that we can check up on progress etc.)

Not sure about that, It looks aircraft related to me?

Oops, sorry, I didn’t mean that it was a boat part, yes it sure looks like an aeropart. But, it could have had marine bits in it such as a float plane for example? I’m brainstorming because we have little to go on.

edit………it could also stand for Grenade Launcher Module?

Can anyone identify not only the part but the aircraft typefrom the part number on the plate? This is all I have to go on so far…

The plane crashed in 1945 in a river named Haringvliet near to us. This is the number showing up on the plate. G.L.M. ASSEM 192–1628 A10623.

Maybe not much use but here goes: –
GLM Assembly. Isn’t GLM a marine engine maker?

    As usual, amazing prof. shots.
The mood of the sky with the blue flash on the machine plus afterburning light actually suits colour more than B&W in my opinion. That doesn’t happen often.

Why can’t cats pee on the drive? My drive is dozens of yards long and is made of flint chippings.

I would water pistol a dog too. Their crap is worse, considerably larger in diameter and as posted above…not buried.
Grey Squirels get the bullet, they are only a rat with a nice tail….as would rats if I saw one. And yes, I have suffered property damage to a pair of Squirels so that was the last straw. Chewed through a roof rafter and a lot of electric wiring in the loft.
