Al, you’ve done some wierd sh1t in your time mate, but that’s a CLASSIC!! Well done son, I’m massively impressed. I have to ask though, was this a Darwin Awards training session…? 😉

My Darwin Awards Training sessions finished 2 years ago they involved 1) a close shave in my lounge with a chainsaw which ran amok – wrecking a wooden floor , the skirting board , the wall and it ended up embedded in a brand new leather sofa 2) Crawled under one of my tractors to short out the starter solenoid , unfortunately it was still in first/low gear and it ran over me ( did this twice in one month ) 3) An amateur attempt at smelting gold in the kitchen resulted in some kitchen units on fire , a large hole in the base of the sinks and burn marks all over the floor.
There are many others – waaay too stupid to tell on here 😉

A good place to start is the Glenlivet Distillery, free guided tours and sampling of 12 & 18 year old malts makes you forget about landslides and grotty weather we had up there in the past two weeks! 😀

You must have past me and the family somewhere John , we came back down last Sunday , some of the landslides were quite impressive – especially where the overburden had slid right off to the bare granite .
But I have to agree the distillery tours are great – even better do the Speyside Whisky bus tour !!!.

If you can find it Daz I would appreciate it . I take it this is the Turbulent at EF?

    Al

Edited to say , this is the Turbi at EF as the date on the photo was the date of the Scottish Forum meet .

Was just thinking though, with any luck setter might have something else to see before he leaves… 😉

Trust us Setter , if we can pull this one off the Forumites who turn up will be the first to see her . If we don’t get nicked by Customs – if we do get nicked Daz might not make it , it was his fault , he found it , he made me do it , I was only the driver , honestly officer . 😀

    Amen to that.

First reports being rumoured of a Microlight v Mirage air-to-air in France.

If true, I doubt they would ever have seen each other 😮

Hope it is just a rumour.

    Moggy

Not a rumour , confirmed now – 2 killed in the Micro .

    RIP

We have a caravan at North Berwick and I have a bunch of leaflets for local B+B’s over there , I’ll look them out , I can recommend the Marine Hotel though . A very nice wee place and only 5 mins from EF , a few nice wee pubs too !!
