It’s not a Spit, it’s a Seafang, the naval version of the Spiteful.

Er… based on the Supermarine Spiteful. Developed from Spitfire experience agreed but it’s stretching it to say it’s based on a Spit XIV.

I haven’t a clue now where I read it but apparently it was great fun to fly.

Shouldn’t be a problem, I’ve got our 2 laptops running 98, 2000 and XP on a wireless network without any trouble. I haven’t yet found a flavour of Linux that understands the wireless network card.

Presumably the main PC connects the same way, router and modem?
Have you told IE never to connect and use a LAN?

    I still don’t see a map.

Strange – I can see it with Firefox but not IE.

What we need is real aeroplane, some nice replica’s will do the trick, even large scale models can be used to good affect. CGI has its place, but please not when the real thing can be used!!!!

Stop plugging your uncle, or has he finally retired? 🙂

Presumably guards to stop the tow-line getting tangled in the control surfaces.

It was there in July, well some of it was anyway. There may have been more at one time.

There is or was a range of shampoos or the like called Schwartzkopf (sp). I suppose it sounds better than the literal translation of blackhead. Likewise Braün is pronounced brown, and that’s what it means, but Braün think brawn sounds better.

The reduction gear cost several arms and legs too. I imagine the drawings would still be around somewhere but it wouldn’t be cheap to have them made.

A bloke did a ducted-fan one a few years back. There was an article in one of the R/C mags about it.
