Roads/Runways…same thing 😀 😀
I never knew the RoKAF used old jets for D.A.C. training, nice idea to see an F-15K getting it’s rear end handed to it by an F-86 though :p
Hi David and welcome to the forum’s. Are you talking about the British Army’s fleet of chopper’s or tanks??? If you wanna know about tanks then sadly the ground forces are not covered here…a good site to visit is http://www.militaryphotos.net which has ton’s of excellent pic’s and info on the worlds ground forces…if you’re looking for info on the chopper’s then ask away and the excellent members here will find tell you what you need to know.

What the blazes are these??? Picked them up at Osan in R.o.KOREA, the have swept wings like MiG-15/17 or Sabres…are the being preserved or are they decoys? What’s the story?
By the way, if you go to Osan and look in the upper left hand corner you will see an OA-10 sitting in the open…no Q.R.A. aircraft though, isn’t that kinda odd???
How about these then: :p
How about these then: :p

Does anyone else think that the Fulcrum with wingtip pylons looks wrong??? I mean it just looks odd, out of place, weird, VERY UNCOOL!!! 🙁

Where did he find the North Korean BK117??? A little movie called “Stealth”…real downer seeing that thing in there, one of the US fighters goes down over North Korea and a load of North Korean Spec’ Op’s come pouring out of two BK117’s in pursuit of the pilot.
Anymore pic’s on the net? And what does “Shafaq” mean???
I agree, there should have been more reports on the PLAAF by magazines. They seem to foucus largely on US or European air forces and rarely go through the trouble of travelling to exotic lands to bring such profiles to us.
There have been a few though, Air Power Review Issue 1 provided a good insight into the PLAAF (granted this is now a couple of years old) and I know Aircraft International produced such a report a couple of years back too.
I know I saw the profile you’re talking about in Combat Aircraft, but I didn’t buy it…chose AFM instead…think I can spare the cash this week and might go hunt for it.
I thought one of the Su-35’s was transferred to the Russian Knights, but I have yet to see it fly in those colours 🙁
Flashy??? 🙂
I think it looks good, should be quite effective too in the air.
