Why are so many people here talking about firing warning shots across the noses of airliners??? If thats all the EF2000 is gonna be used for then the RAF should have scraped it and gone with an advanced Hawk, the Typhoon is not meant for air policing against terrorists.
I agree the RAF Typhoons should have a gun as a last resort but when we live in a world where most pilots never get to see each other it would be unlikely for it to be used in combat.
Ok the F-4 never had a gun to start with and this cost the Yanks a few pilots, but times have changed and I doubt we will ever see an RAF or American pilot use his guns in air combat or even to straf enemies on the ground.
As far as intercepting terror planes, well we will have GR.4s and Gr.9s hanging around for a long time. So they are ground attack fighters, but when you’re intercepting a Cessna or a Boeing 747 does it matter that your not piloting an interceptor???

Ok, I don’t mind other cultures coming to our shores (after all I’m from foreign soil myself 🙂 ) however what does concern me is the vast number of people already here (legally or illegally) and that fact that this wave of immigrants isn’t just gonna stop over night!!! I was actually thinking about this as I was lying in bed last night and I can honestly see a real crisis in this coountry in decade or less, I mean what is the government gonna do once we run out of jobs and homes and the NHS and the DSS can’t handle the strain anymore (I mention the DSS simply because a lot of people both British and foreign rely on the DSS for income and housing support)
Britain is not the nation that these people seem to think it is (ie a country which is loaded with jobs and houses) , what happens when we can’t take anymore??? Are we simply gonna close our ports and airports or something??? :confused:

Well what do you expect, we live in a world full of sad little people whose only purpose in life is to do stupid stuff like this!!!

We in Britain live in a nation which tries to ban competition in school in such events as sports days (no more tug of war!!!), where schools ban playground games like British Bulldog cos they are too competitive (!!!), does not allow children to learn such age old ryhmes as “Baa baa black sheep” cos it is racist…I’ve spoke to many black sheep and they don’t see a problem with it :diablo: …do not allow camcorders into school plays cos they might be used for child porn (I have met many parents who find that kinda thing offensive)…dissuade children from playing games involving running and jumping cos they might get hurt (the teachers in my day would be rolling around laughing at such a comment) and find it acceptable to re-write the Christmas story so that it doesn’t offend non-Christians (the most hilarious one I have seen involves aliens…I just wish I could find it on the net so I could show you guys)

So getting scenes with Tom and Jerry removed is not a surprise, in fact nothing would surprise me anymore!!!
