Thanks guys I was just reading the comments on my foggy Emirates, got a nice result with that one as the thick stuff had just lifted about 15 minutes earlier.

A330’s are always a good bet for condensation effects if there is a lot of moisture in the air.

Here are some other shots of it from that sequence showing fogging over the wings.

Apparently Volare owe a 100 grand so don’t think we will be seeing them in the UK for the time being, pity too they were occasional PIK visitors and I once shot an IL76 of theirs parked close to the fence at Freight.

The AN12 is rumoured to be on offer for 3 grand, now if only my garden was big enough.

The Heavylift Belfast is in the Polar Hanger at the moment so I didn’t get anything on it during my two visits this week, when I saw it about 3 weeks ago it wasn’t parked on a good spot then either.

Should be plenty of time to shoot it when it comes out of the hanger.

I was browsing the mags this aftenoon and Airliner World has a little bit on the same owners getting the other Belfast G-BEPS back into an airworthy state, there was a pic of it at Southend without any engines on it. If the manage to do it good chance it might turn up at PIK one day.

I didn’t notice that “Jaguar” had no engines, you are more observant than I am.

I thought the Ryanair 737s at PIK had been sold on to another airline but maybe it’s only certain ones and the others are being stripped for spare parts.

Suppose it could also be worked being done on those engines and they might be put back on again.

The Ryanair maintenance facility is way on the other side of the field and they have been tugging a lot of the 737s back and forward over to it.

I’m not sure what sort of training the Virgin A340 was doing it did the same routine as a week previous and flew Gatwick to Prestwick arriving about midday then departed 20 minutes later to East midlands and came back up from there to Prestwick again at 3pm before departing to Gatwick 20 minutes later.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

Hello Dee747 you picked a good one for your visit To Prestwick that day with the 747 Freighter movements that came in and lots of sunshine too.

I think that was the first time I’ve ever seen three deckchairs out on the “mound” in October without the occupants being frozen rigid.
