Its so low, it looks like Ray Hanna could have been flying the Yak !!!!!

The Mustang often sounds louder than a Merlin Spitfire, I think that is to do with the fact that the mustang is heavier and the engine has to work harder, also the Propeller is heavy on the mustang 500 kg also different airframe shape may play a part

A number of Spitfires that have gone to South Africa have crashed in recent years IX TE213, IX TE566 and possibly more !

I would love to see a Mosquito being chased by spitfires again and out pacing them like at Legends 96 also a daimler benz powered 109 in a dogfight sequence

Its ironic that the weather was sunny at woodford for a change that day, as had it been the normal cloudy and wet weather the accident probably wouldn’t have occured

Does anybody know what the final cause of the crash was determined as for this aircraft, i.e. pilot error or engine failure e.t.c

it was first made in the 1950’s by Greene King in Bury St Edmunds and is very popular all over the Uk apparently
