Were that correct it would be hard to explain the number of g-reg permit types buzzing around Northern France each sunny weekend.
Moggy
Just going by what my CAA rule book has printed in it… admittadly its probably a little out of date bein 1982!
I’m sure I read it recently somewhere that the vulcan will not be permitted to fly out side UK airspace unless special dispensation is given by the country it is to visit.
558 will only have a Permit to Fly and NOT a full CofA, this means she will only ever be permitted to fly in UK airspace, unless she is re-registerd to another countrys civil air register such as the Experimental Register in the US then there is no chance of her going to the states.
A Sterling or Manchester would be very nice to see.
BBMF came into Southend Lanc had a bit of a bouncer so had to make a go-arround…
Not that I am complaining!
Sorry, but you’ve got to find it for yourself – clue: east of the minster. Do you know where Beverley is? Come on, its fun.
Cheers got it now and to prove it there is a green thing under the wing.
I must be as blind as a blind bat what are the co-ordinates for the Bev?
Was the hydraulic lifting ram also recoverd?

Hurricane over Southend
and this time its the Hawker variant and not the weather!
Again the weather id not play ball, somebody really hates the working man up there!
Wor4k all week when its nice and sunny and then send the rain at the Bank Holiday when you are all offf typical.
Again the Earbirds did not make it, stuck at Duxford or over the Channel, The Wingwalkers could not fly, No Canberra, BBMF dont fly in rain, Falcons did not jump.
But over half did fly though dispite the conditions big congrats to all the team who put it together and the ATC Guys and girls for re-gigging everything, that did fly.
747 made three low passes during a very heavy downpour the raid did stop on and off but it was that light stuff for most of the day 12 out of the 18 acts made it through the rain so well done to them all.
Southend, funny you should mention that…. we are currently looking into a late summer date around that neck of the woods, watch this space!
If it is Southend I am sure I could get a few more people intrested in joining a flight
