Any news on when the next event is?
also any news on the pembroke, would be a dream if the Anson could take passengers.
what ever it was have you got a photo of it?
I’ll take a stab at a Hurel-Dubois HD.321
You will LOVE the Prentice a stunning aircraft went up in her at the flying day last year, rock solid in the air fantastic view from the aircraft as well she might not be the fastest aircraft but thats not important a great stable camera ship.
Went on Sunday too, bit wet and windy but had a great flight on the Twin Pin the take off would have put a Harrier to shame! and the 30kt head wind helped!
Hope to do the Devon next time and if its avalable the Pembroke.
I want up at AA yesterday too, the only Twin Pin flight of the day crew were great laugh bit bumpy at times but the take off would put a harrier to shame!
Think they owned it when they went bust? they dumped it outside.
The Ulster Folk & Transport Museum have VH-UUP/G-ACUX in store
The mortal remians of Scion G-AEZF was on charge with the Southend Museum but this was just the very batterd remins of the fuseularge frame. a restoration/re-build was being under taken (photos appeard in anoth mag cant rember what one) upon the closure of the musum the aircraft moved to a garage in Southend where the restoration continued it then moved to the Thameside Aviation Museum and then on to Redhill.
😀
At the 06 end BEFORE the gates went up the Clacton airshow movemnets were doing thier thing, there must have been about 6 or 7 of us just standing there watching and taking photos when…
A car pulled up behind us looked round and you’ve guessed it a police car was sitting there thinking it was marching orders time every one started to gather thier camera gear and quickly very very quickly switching off radios when
The cops got out the car ans asked when the BBMF was due to take off! they stayed to watch even asking if we could put our radios BACK on so they could hear the chatter, after the BBMF departed they were about to drive off when I said Canberra was taking off in a few minites the reply was *******ing Ell we’ll wait for that!
Once she had depart the coppers said enjoy the rest guys dont get too sunburnt and drove off!
