Nations have learning from their experience of from those of around in different times that might is right. So any nation which wants to maintain its way of living would like to get its hands on powerful weapons so that they wont face threats of “WITH US OR AGAINST US”. I dont understand the concept of unpopular Administration of Iran with the people. I dont see Administration killing people who oppose them. I dont see people in the streats protesting against the direction the President is taking Iran into. Well if all that is there then y do we want to help the people out? People are raised within the nation and sometimes have same idealogy only different methods to acheive it.
You remove a german from administration it would be replaced by another german. You remove a Iranian from power it would be replaced by another Iranian, You replace US president and he would be replaced by another pro israeli president. These are facts of life. Get use to it.

Well if what you say is true and US is not their for Oil then there is only one valid reason. Mr Bush and others in power are war mongers. The recent rise of oil on the international market to $70+ per bbl has hurt the US economy…causing inflation worries (look at the US stock market for the past copuple of weeks…) so if the US is ‘Stealing oil” why are prices rising in the US?

Well Boyle its correct that prices of Oil has gone up and the reason as mentioned by barbarian is the standoff between iran. The entire mexican facility to produce oil was hit by tropical storm and other factors. The consumer use processed oil not crude oil. Can you tell me that what portion of processing of crude oil is done by NoN-US firm? i guess very little. So its simple the profit of high prices go to US firms not oil producing countries. All u have to do is keep a storge of oil, start a rumor and the prices will hit sky and then u can make $ by pumping the stored oil but now processed. It works dear It works very well.

And what is wrong with my thinking?
It’s people like you whose thinking is wrong. You admit that we can’t control these countries ourself, but we CAN control the world’s most powerful nations and make them do our will? How crazy does one has to get in order to think like that?
