Jeep – No4?
Ah, well! Robert Gretzyngier (Germany) went to US sources for his very nice interpretation. My effort could not match that. So far as I recall, we only had the Jeep in line cartoons in those days, & my attempt lacked such reference.

For No 4 –
Scotty’s ship was MV Empire Ray – http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v164/photo04/RAF2/ray.jpg
Oh, & going the other way!! – http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v164/photo04/RAF2/city.jpg
And a thought – why catapult angled? If not, blast would melt the forrard mast. And you couldn’t access No1 hold.
“…shut down three and feather the props …”
So you guessed?
Not much to tell, really.
We had excess speed for safety & we had several menbers of the crew up front, looking at the ‘audience’, so several pairs of hands went for the No1 unfeather button & we caried on as normal.
All good training?
I was showing off a Shackleton & feathered Nos 1&2 nearest the crowd.
Look – no engines!
No 3 then failed. Ooops!!
Griffon? Oh, flew it – XIV, 21 etc? No like!
No!
Oh, each to it’s own. Except for the Griffon. Fury & Tempest II. And add the Sabre – Typhoon & Tempest V/

Yes, thanks, Ian – see my e-mail today. I was looking for a new post from a Russian!

Or this, from Franek, another Pole – http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v164/photo04/RAF2/jeep900x251.jpg!!
