It is quite common in NZ and perfectly legal to only display the last three letters of the serial. They must not fly outside NZ like that I understand, although I have seen a NZ aircraft without the country code part in Oz.

You are right, David. I thought of NZ but the book I checked with was published before it became ZK-EJM. What a twit!!!
Many thanks,
Glyn
Sorry to contradict Scott C but the B2 Victor definitely had a sliding fuel control panel drawer.
I wish I had a £1 for every time I have ground run a Victor B2!

You are quite right Blue Max it is WB and not WD. A slip of the finger there. As for it not being Sywell, I will take your word for it but it says Sywell on the details listed on the negative bag. I only went to Sywell twice and that was for the last two PFA rallies held there in the late 70s. This ia a neg I bought some years ago.

The flying boat behind the 707 is a Supermarine Seagull.

2 T10 WG428 coded M
3 22 G-AJVD coded 59
4 T10 WD693 of AAC coded S taken at Sywell on 11/July 1971
5 T10 WG458 coded N which was taken by Andy Anderson
6 T10 WG348 coded 11 of CFS at Wethersfield on 24 May 1969 again by Andy Anderson.
Thanks for those TNZ. Of course anyone can add percivals to the thread. The more the better.
Glyn
Some more Percivals but this time all are JPs. For those who are as pedantic as myself, I realise that T5s are correctly BAC and not Percival. However I like to keep all the JPs together so here they are! All these are from negatives I purchased and are not taken by me. There is a query with XS216 as my database shows this as having been SOC on 05/06/73 after a mid air collision. Although it landed safely there is no sign of damage in the photo.

Albert,
After another look at the original I suspect the TT20 is WD630.

Thanks for the correction. Do you know the serial? It seems to be WD???.
