Its getting crazy at EMA with parking etc.

Have you seen the latest hike in short-stay prices? At one time you leave your car in the short stay for a long weekend and it wouldn’t cost much more than the long stay. Now you need a small mortgage for more than 5 minutes there, its obscene!

Its about time to fill the ap between ‘BB and ‘BD, so ‘BC could be on the way? I hope so anyway!

Can’t see them registering the next long haul aircraft ‘BA for obvious reasons :p

Thats the missing link in the range isn’t it.

I just went on their website, http://www.globespan.com and found it very confusing. They say they fly to Exeter 😮 (i was surprised as it was) then went on the Exeter airport site and couldn’t find anything about it!

They are a scheduled carrier aren’t they?

The EXT service is usually a double drop sector that carries on to BHX then back to YYZ. They used to operate it with 757’s, although its now an A310 I believe. Its been going some years, one weekly BHX via EXT and one direct BHX.

Oh thats a Murcutt rant above Sandy, I’d recognise that almost reglious “do you know who I am” patronising rubbish anywhere!

As professional as ever 😮 …. I still say give them 6 months if they get off the ground, max! The photoshopped A310 looks about as a classy as a knackered Turkish charter aircraft doesn’t it. LOL!

I think they’re having trouble sourcing a 767-300 with their requirements.

And no, I doubt an A310 can do what they plan.

There were plenty available in some dusty old US desert for them last I heard Sandy. They even considered 200 series as they were cheaper. No doubt the A310’s will be EVEN cheaper if thats why they are going for.

Probably a few less seats to fill too I would imagine. Lets face it, they’ll be hard pushed to fill a widebody that many times a week to Floridian destinations with direct-sell only. Tour op’s won’t touch them til they’re up in the air and are a real airline.

    Very true Sandy!

Where’s this A310 business come from though? Can an A310 seriously make it 9hrs or so non-stop to SFB and FLL etc?
