1st AirSouthwest flight listed on the boards, nice to see, looking forward to seeing them on my next trip up to LBA 🙂

    WOW482 BRISTOL 0850
    WOW483 BRISTOL 0915

Is this a new scheduled route or were they coming in for a charter?

    Well done Shamrock!

Don’t worry about the exams, if you don’t know the answer to something, the trainer will probably tell you anyway (in a roundabout way of course) 😀

    You’ll be fine.

I started at Servisair over 10 years ago myself. Its a great environment if you like the unexpected and a bit of chaos (well a lot of chaos as it was then!). When flights are delayed, you’ll be expected to stay behind and help out but thats all part of the fun.

To be honest, its long hours to make a decent wage, but the atmosphere is usually great. You can get away with a lot being a PSA, like sitting those people who p**s you off at check-in on a really bad row or send their bags to the wrong place etc (did I really just say that!) :diablo:

As for the interview process, it was pretty much a one stage and they have your contract ready to sign when I was there. Maybe they’ve changed the process slightly, but as long you talk about customer service and being flexible with extra shifts etc, you’ll be fine. You’ll have great fun! Good luck!

Maybe the passengers did alert a member of the Cabin Crew, but if they were on taxi, the crew may well have been seated too at this point and aren’t supposed to answer call bells after they’ve been told to sit down themselves.

We should remember a certain 3 little words in these cases – CRM. Remember what happened with the bmi crash at Kegworth? Cabin crew tell the flight deck that the wrong engine is on fire etc. I’m sure we don’t all need reminding but I think its very sensible for anyone to report anything they see thats unusal. However, I don’t agree with storming the flight deck, they should have got the cabin crew to request an aborted take off.

Would be even better on an empty flight when some of us (bad) crew get to sit on plastic trays at the forward end of the aisle and guess where we end up on take off…. lol!!!

    😀 😮

    Great pics Bhoy.

Will miss the Saab 2000 when they’re all phased out. 🙁

That’s the best one yet. I noticed that example has a side cargo door. Is this a dedicated cargo aircraft for them, or a combi, or what? I thought Titan just carried passengers.

I think they have 737QC’s. You don’t see many of them around really!

The livery is really great… prefer it to the last one.
