That is the gist of it, Mike… Sad, but he who pays the bills has the right to do whatever he wishes.
Gentlemen, I’m glad to see that you’ve continued this thread. Continues to make me smile, even after a LONG absence from these pages. :applause:
I apologize if this is a duplicate… But here is the actual “latest” information on VR796:

The main gear looks like Beech, Chris.
This project has truly been an “Allied” effort.
Born in Downsview, and reborn in Ardmore… talk about Commonwealth input! 😎
While I’ve not met Jerry Yagen, I have heard from those who have that this gentleman truly “gets it”. In my view, the stewardship of this aircraft could not have been in better hands.
Regarding airshows… PLEASE Mr. Yagen – Ottawa/Gatineau is VERY close to The Old Dominion, in flight time – September 2013 would be a grand “First Anniversary” outing, bringing her back whence she came so many years ago.
It’s a Fokker. 😮
Cannot find the proper name anywhere…
Zenair CH 620 Gemini, I believe.

SHHHH! 😮
Yes. Mike & Larry are friends of mine. As I indicated, I was there on Friday last.
I think it might be the autogyro I saw in a photo with Jean Harlow posing in front, but I don’t know its name.
A Pitcairn? There was a PA-18 around relatively recently.

It is indeed a Pitcairn PA-18. You have control.
Yes, it should not be hard, given the erudition in this group! 🙂
Thanks, Pagey…
Glad my insertion wasn’t rude. 🙂
