Not all, I think they will continue to operate intercontinetal flights from ZRH using the Swiss cooperate identity. At least those making money.

The inter european flights will probably be taken over by Germanwings in a short time, apart from the most profitable routes (if there are any). In the end I imagine they will try to get much of the traffic to their hubs in MUC and FRA.

There are many reasons why they do not buy the Flanker at the moment.

The first reason is that they see themselves at an actual risk of being attacked at least since OIF. How many spare parts for your current planes, tanks, and helicopters. Flankers delivered in 2007 will not help them if they are attacked in 2005.

The next reason is that most poeple believe that he IrIAF would have money to spent, but that is not that true. The air Force is stll the less trusted part of the armed forces in Iraq. Much money is going ti the IRCG airforce instead.

The third reason is the fact that the IRIAF seems to dislike russian systems. I remember that one of their generals said that they would buy the F-15E if they could.

Well forgive me for posting this, but that is my first every try at designing a livery. Many thanks to Bmused for giving me his template. I´m really ashamed to post it, but I promised.

In such cases my military background takes over. A airforce would ground it whole fleet of a type if one happens to have such an accident.

Exactly and that is what I don´t like. If first rate carriers like BA decide for commercial considerations instead of premium passanger safety, then that is a trend which I do not like. If I pay and fly with a major carrier I demand that passenger safety should be their first and only concern in case of a problem of the plane happening.

And the later fuel pump failure shows imho, that there can always be a second problem.
