This Il-76 is one of four plane of “Weihnachts Kalender 2004”. Have you bought all four planes?

No unfortunately it was the only one left, as hte shop is closing.

Unfortunately, the current Bush administration has consideration very low down on their agenda. 😀

And why would the Iranians want more Tomcats, when there are F16s and F18s available, not to mention russian stockpiles, which come at a huge price reduction? :diablo:

Somehow I still think that the Iranians are not that hot about russian planes. Otherwise they could have bought lots of them years ago.

The idea of F-14s going to Iran is highly unlikely however.

What about surplus A-7Es? The United States sold some recently to Thailand’s Navy, and while these aren’t deployed on a carrier, they would make a good replacement for the A-4s,as thats what the US Navy replaced its A-4s with.As a 2nd option I’d go with the Naval AMX,sounds like a good idea to me,probbley make a decent little attack bird and who knows, maybe Brazil could talk Italy into producing some on their AMX line to replace or complament their AV-8B Harrier IIs.If they did this,it would off set some of the costs of just one country producing a special version.

A-7s ?? I doubt refurbishing the few remianing examples would be an expensive adventure.

The obvious solution would be used F/A-18s.

No surprise. 4U were eyeing SXF as a possible base. Seems like Easy Jet wants to prevent this by increasing traffic from SXF.

    Good for GLA.

But what is special about it ? DUS will have a 777-300 from August on. And 2 777 from early 2006. Seems like EK are increasing services to many airports in europe. Especially to those that offer a lot of pax, but have been forgotten by the local home carriers lke LH or BA.

This is only pahse 3 of the extension plan, which at the moment is far form certain to happen. And if it does I could imagine that they would built an artifical beach on the end of the extended runway.

Well why walking through the city during my lunch break, I noticed that one of the local toy stores has gone out of business and was selling there remaining stock with a 20% discount on everything. Knowing that they sold Herpa modells I went in – and came it with a nice Douglas collection.
