With the radar the MiG-29 is up on top again. Add the R-77 and you got an nice Falcon killer.

I hope they find more buyers for the plane.

On question 2 I think we should add the Alpha Jet.

The rear cockpit was often used as a place for 2 “R2D2” ECM equipment on those planes used by the JaBoGs.

So the plane was a single seater.

Well you can always use the T-50 as an F-5 replacement. Or the IDF …

I think the Dutch should buy the Block 60. I would then call it the caravan version. I bet there is enough space to fit a small kitchen and a toilet in the humps.

KDC is unique because the boom operator is actually not seeing the boom, but “flying” it from an station in the aircraft.

Well just take the current forces and just keep the National Guard, that would be all that is needed and more. Get rid of every fighter except the F-16s Block 30 and later.

Cancel F-22, F-35 and UACVs and all heavy bombers.

Scrap the carriers and their escorts. Get rid of the subs. Keep pnly 5000 Marines for work with the Coastal patrol vessels.

Army should loose the Comache, the AH-64 and most of the transport helos. Keep some OH-58D and UH-60s.

Scrap all MBTs. Just keep the Strikers.

Scrap all C-5 and C-17s and most C-130. Keep some C-130s.

    Keep about 80 tankers.

->Man the US could save some serious money

Ah, I think it is a great plane, I just donΒ΄t like the looks. I never liked the big spine F-16s and big spine + CFTs is not pleasing to my eye.

    That is all.

If you really want to be able to defend from NATO you must forget about conventional weapons. You need WMDs with various means to deliver them.

This should include BMs and even more important you need persons inside NATO countries that will be willing to use those agents on public locations. Subway stations, airports, soccer stadiums, shopping malls, .. All such nice targets for which you will only need small amounts of agents, but will still cause maximum casualities. Think of a WMD guerillia war.

Make clear that you are more then willing to use those methods in case of an attack and you will be save.

There is other way to beat the US/Nato forces if you are being targeted by them. Trying to defend by conventional means will only mean that you have to spent a large ammount of your national income on buying weapons, which in the end will not help you much, but will have ruined your economy before.

You need cheap weapons that will scare the hell out of the western population and governments and that weapon is guerillia attacks with WMDs against their civilian population.

Btw : That is not a way I would suggest for Serbia, but a pure analytic opinion on how to defend against US/NATO with limited resources.

The Brits still use their PR.9s , but they are nearing the end of their service life.
