Nice ones Si. Good to see some shots from Mawgan. Haven’t been there for years but the good ole China Clay background brings back memories of waiting for things to happen, like a plane to come in. During the wait it was a case of observing the wildlife around the place. Do you still get the lizards running around the ground ?
Very nice shots. Great colour on the second one.
Some good uns. I like the GSM baby pig. Good one of the PK too.
Tut tut. That guy should be watching the road instead of taking pictures.
😀
Great selection there Paul, and great weather (including wind direction).
Would like to have been there now that I see the wx conditions.
Owdo Scotty. I see the Dutch royals must have been on a wee jolly to Luxembourg. And what’s that, a Slovak Air Force Codling lurking there too ?
Nice wee selection there, but WHAT … no barbary apes ?
That one of the trail following you: It’s never easy to shoot through these perspex passenger windows, but your enlargement is enough to make it out as a Norwegian Air Shuttle.
I like the shot of the cops at Brooklyn Bridge, and the next shot of the red longranger.
Cheers Chaps.
Judas, there are LOTS of EI- airliners operated by various airlines worldwide. Quite a few Italian airlines… Air One, Myair, some Alitalia 767s and 777s and many more. I believe the first Irish leasing company was Guinness Peat founded back in 1975.
Nice selection there Kenny! Absolutely brilliant that Meridiana. Lucky to catch it in sun with dark all around to give the contrast. Also like the shot of the PIA landing.
PRKR … Yes, m’lady. Just a pity that Virgin didn’t send G-VFAB (Lady Penelope).
Good bunch of shots there Paul. Favourites are the one of EZID landing and the one of Mr Spalding.
Glad you got a nice day and hefty easterlies for some nice all round shots within walking distance.
Not when you’re stuck in ‘studio C’ with Stuart Cosgrove… 😀
Should have told him he’d just have to wait !
I managed to get my shift changed on Saturday in order to try and get a photo of the Virgin 744, bl**dy thing turned up hours late though didn’t it, when I was tucked away at work !!! 😡 😀
Hey, you could have shot it from work. You have the technology.
The monochromes work well. Didn’t know it was flying in the old RAF scheme with serial. And what are these things all in a row in one of your shots ? Ah, SEATS. Never had the comfort of a real seat on daks.
Good to see winglets on the old fellow. When are they painting one up for Terminal 5 ?
