we bled the HP pump on the engine and a pinky fluid came out not the fuel colour you expect ???
Could possibly be old AVTUR that has separated, F34 has a freezing suppressant called FSII, when the fuel gets old it can turn a pinky colour as it leaches out (sometimes with lumps in it!) only ever seen this happen once in service after the pipeline at St Mawgan got purged ready for the end of flying Ops, it showed up during QCC drain offs & caused merry hell up.
