    BSG-75…..

Ha! Never really looked backed after getting divorced, a world of pain & uncertainty at the time, but if I’d have know how things finally panned out, then I would’ve been laughing all the way.

Marriage crashed & burnt 10 years ago, got shared custody of my sweet little 4 year old daughter, now a 14 year old PITA, found a new job with the MOD (thanks to Pagen01).
Bought the Ford Mustang I’d always promised myself & bought a house.

Now life is pretty much hassle free, besides getting called into school to explain daughters latest misdemeanour’s:rolleyes: & seeing as daughter stays with her mum a few nights a week thus giving me lots of “my time” to do what I want, I can make the child her problem every wince & while:dev2:

as Flygirl says, the kids get over it, in fact these days this kind of thing seems to be the norm.

I feel much more relaxed with the world now than when I was married.

Liked all the odd references going on in the back ground, like 633 sqn being mentioned & “Broadsword calling Danny Boy”:D

Seemed to have been made pretty airtight for space travel, wonder if that makes for another MK of Spitfire:D

They were about to be replaced by a pair of new TACR2as. I have heard stories that one ‘rolled’ on the airfield (poss this one looking at the state of it); any photos out there?

Seem to recall a TACAR going shiny side down at Chivenor & another throwing a con rod on the A30 on the way to replace it.

Baz’s wind-ups would constitute a thread in themselves, sometimes you hear them and don’t quite believe it, until you hear the same thing from somebody else who was posted to SM at the same time!:D

Or see the photographic and/or video evidence:eek:

In that case, I choose the rotary, where the crank stays still & the cylinders go whizzing around it. 😀
