but the Trafalgar roundabout ****-up (sorry, traffic improvement scheme) continues to cause delays!!
Indeed, caught up in that madness on Friday, couldn’t have dis-organised it better myself
7 weeks of hell for the poor bloody parents, those who work are forever stressed trying to sort out childcare, annual leave used up for no good reason, never ending demands for more cash & ice cream from equally bored offspring.
Thank God my one is pretty much grown up now.

Freds Five & their Sea Vixens, complete with home made blue smoke, which gave everyone’s washing the ‘bluey whiteness’ 😀
Sorry to pop up as an anorak again, but they never made a MkIII in 3.0. This was when they went to the 2.8.
Moggy
They did make a 3.0 S as a MK3 🙂 it was replaced by the 2.8i iirc.
Moggy, shame on you for doubting a Drs credibility, yep, Ford did make a 3.0S MKIII, I should know, I dug mine up in perfect condition while on holiday in Buruma 😉 , & J-Jza80 is spot on, replaced by the 2.8i 🙂

Interesting, Did you re bore it and just shove oversized pistons in it, or did you Blueprint the entire engine?.
Jim.
Lincoln .7
Partly, complete rebuild using High-compression 3.1 pistons & Kent rally cam, timed in by using off-set woodruft keys to move that notoriously fragile fibre timing gear.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned the 3ltr Ford Capri
Na, been there, done that. Owned a MKIII 3.0S in my youth, that I turned into a home made 3.1 RS.

Something subtle, maybe a 1970 Plymouth Superbird, or a 1969 Dodge Daytona (both Hemis, of course 😉 )
