    @ ppp

Well, I’m not that creative, so I’ll leave the naming to someone more adept at these type of things.

However, I have devised a scoring system, the first Stepladder jockey dismounted you get 100 points, if he takes another out during his decent you get 200 points, a third 400 points & so one.
A bonus of 1000 points is awarded if the last one ends his journey returning to Terra firma within the boundary of a Schloss Pimmel (one of those fortifications at the crowd line fashioned from windbreaks)

(Dr Strangelove & associate’s in no way advocate the wilful dislodging of photographers from stepladders & takes no responsibility what so ever for any injuries & subsequent claims for damages thus incurred 😉

Looks fixable, glad there were no injuries.

Wonder if that tiny little man hanging off the tail wheel was a contributory factor….

Idiots & a right royal pain in the ar5e to boot, nothing screams complete & utter tool more than these buffoons wandering around an air display looking like they’re about to paint the ceiling.

I mean come on, who hasn’t secretly wanted to give the one on the end a hefty shove & watch a whole row of these fools come toppling down like a line of dominoes. :diablo:

To be honest I think the recovery of the pilot, although full of noble intentions, is unlikely.

Maybe Waghorn, maybe, however IIRC the remains of the crew of Lady Be Good were found & they baled some distance from where the B24 ended up.

    Anything is possible.

    Why did it crash?

I believe it was a mixture of translation unit failure & engine trouble

anywho, quick temporary bodge got me home ok….

    Ah, the bodge factor…

A mate once holed a piston on a KH400, we fixed it at the side of the road by putting a nut & bolt through the hole, gave him a pretty strict RPM limit due to the obvious imbalance & extra dynamic load http://www.mocgb.net/forums/images/smilies/yahoo/21.gif

Still did the job & 50 miles later, safe home. The poor old KH needed a complete rebuild though.
