More pejorative is the term “Shoot The Milkman Law”,

    Run Ernie, run! 😀

The thing that this whole deal may hinge on is the phrase-

    attempted break-in

By that I would assume that they hadn’t actually gained entry to the property? In which case the householder could be in a whole world of pain. Don’t get me wrong here, he still gets a Strangelove A+ (â„¢) for the removal of one undesirable.

As to the whole defending your property & family with lethal force if necessary?
Sounds good to me, the only draw back being is that if we declare open season on burglars, they may very well go tooled up with a shooter on each & every job, thus tipping the arms balance back in the favour of the wrong do’er .

    Why did my ex cheat?

    From one Dr to another…..

Why? well, at the risk of getting a shed load of flak, they’ve all got it in ’em to cheat, they always have this grass being greener thing going on, had it happen to me, was married, now I’m not. Not bitter, just wiser now.
It was during the post marriage time that I formulated the Strangelove planâ„¢ & vowed that these unsatisfactory events shall not occur again, no long term deals, no having them move in & a few months down the line making a claim for half my worldly goods.
No longer do I have to tread on eggshells in fear of upsetting a moody female, I can let the washing up pile up in the sink if want to, late home from the pub? No problem! Back in the dark ages I’d be in for an ear bending, but in these enlightened times….It’s Pizza time! Then fall asleep on the sofa with the telly on.
I look back on the times when I was manacled in Holy Deadlock as time wasted & worse than that, money wasted!

One good thing to come out of this of course is my daughter, who is a an ok kid when she isn’t forging documents at school & causing havoc with the schools computer system.

So, my prescription is, don’t look inward look outward, any hang ups are their problem, if they want to cheat fine, no ones fault, obviously not happy (but when are they? ) no biggy, move onto the next one, it certainly is not an issue.
