Tail wheel unit now swapped out, 795 is sitting on inflated tail wheels for the first time in a snip over 25 years. Both vertical stabilisers are off along with the rudders.
Looking at the wings next.
Went to see ‘Legend’ (not to be confused with the airshow of similar name), sweary, violent & quite funny in places, worth a look.

Built the AMT kit of the XB70 a number of years back, struck by its futuristic design, wonderful looking aeroplane.
One thing I do recall thinking, is the fun taxying this beast would’ve been, seeing how far the nose leg is behind the c0ckpit.
